Sushi A-Go-Go (Austin, TX)

Of all the cart’s we’ve covered on VendrTV, we’ve never made our way to a sushi cart. Until now… Sushi A-Go-Go is a fully functional sushi kitchen, tucked tightly (like sushi) into a mobile trailer. Parked in Central Austin, this trailer serves delicious, fresh sushi to locals, and is a destination for those further away. And while they have all the traditional rolls you might think of, they’re also got some crazy Maki rolls – like they’re “Texan Roll” which boasts steak as well as tempura shrimp, candied jalapenos, and mayo! Yum!

Moochies Mobile Munchies (Baton Rogue, LA)

While we were shooting in NOLA we got a call about a food cart in the state’s capitol, Baton Rogue, that serves alligator po-boys. Naturally we had to take a trip out to investigate. What we happened upon was Moochie’s Mobile Munchies, a late night LSU hotspot serving gluttonous burgers, brisket chili smothered fries, and their signature po-boy complete with not just an alligator sausage, but piled high will pulled pork. These things were massive. So massive, that a competition was called for. Check out the episode to see who won!

Grilled Cheese Grill w/ Brett Burmeister: VendrTV

What do you get when you take an old school bus, an airstream, and piles of queso? The Grilled Cheese Grill. Occupying a whole lot in Northeast Portland, this cart dishes out one of the most classic of all American comfort foods: The Grilled Cheese Sandwich. But it’s not just Wonder bread and American cheese… quite the opposite in fact! This cart takes an artisan spin on the classics, dishing out options like Jalepeno Popper sandwiches and the Cheesus, a burger happily stacked between two grilled cheese sandwiches. In the episode, I was joined by Brett Burmeister of Food Carts Portland, who explained why Portland has such a robust street food scene. Gourdough's on Vendr.Tv

We've all heard that greasy food can help with a nasty hangover. If this is ever proven by science, Gourdough's might be bottled by Bayer and sold at your local pharmacy.

By far the most gluttonous episode to date – Gourdoughs – where tender donuts are fried fresh, to order, and topped with some serious fixin’s. How serious? Take the Mother Clucker, for example. A fresh fried donut, glazed, topped with fried chicken breast, and a honey butter drizzle. Unbelievable!

Ziba’s Pitas on Vendr.Tv

Dan Delaney and company were in Portland, Oregon, in this week's featured episode of Vendr.Tv. They visited Ziba's Pitas, a food cart serving authentic Bosnian pitas to the hungry masses. Here's what they had to say:

Ziba’s Pitas is a little gem in the heart of Portland owned and operated by Ziba Ljucervic who, by herself, is worth the visit. Of all the dishes she serves, Pitas, her namesake, are the best. Unlike pita bread, a Bosnian Pita is actually a number of fillings rolled up into phyllo dough and twisted like a cinnamon roll. But this blows even the best Cinnabon away! Juicy lamb, flaky phyllo, and peppery spices. Fantastic!

Sounds like something out of a dream! Check out vendr.tv to watch the complete series or to make a donation.
