San Francisco is a shining example of what can be accomplished at the grassroots level in a very short time. Established restaurateurs and green horns alike  joined together to celebrate diveristy and culture at their annual street food festival this past weekend. Community based and equally as grounded,  San Francisco's street food scene is second to only Portland in terms of size and variety. If they can do it, we can do it. I for one, can't wait.
