Fasttrac Fusion

Fasttrac fusion makes it's home beside Langara station on the Skytrain's Canada Line. In an area with so many students and so few food options within walking distance, they've become a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Allen Yien partnered with Den Suzuki (a chef specializing in Japanese and French cusine), upon winning his location in the city's vendor lottery.

The menu conists of lamb and beef skewers, teriyaki and yakisoba noodle bowls, fish balls and rice cakes.  Plus one that I just knew I'd be trying, the terkiyaki sub. The teriyaki beef was plentiful and tasty, topped with mayonnaise and a hint of wasabi.

The chicken teriyaki rice bowl had liberal amounts of flavour and meat with the flavour carrying over nicely as it soaked into the rice.

Some info for you price junkies out there: They have nothing on the menu over 5 dollars and the portion sizes are nice and filling. I'd recommend stopping by if you are in the neighbourhood or heading up or downtown on the Canada line. If you are driving, try for the free parking along Cambie just south of 49th beside the golf course (or just improvise as I did).

Fasttrac Fusion is open Monday through Friday 9am-6:30pm Located at 49th and Cambie beside the Langara Skytrain station.
